Megan is a Licensed Associate Counselor and a Certified School Counselor who is currently working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Megan received her bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice from Salve Regina University and her master’s degree in School Counseling from Montclair State University.

 

She is experienced working with children, adolescents, and adults, with a particular focus on issues relating to grief that the LGBTQ+ community. She has worked in both high schools and elementary schools settings, as well as volunteered her time for the last 3 years in non-profit grief support settings. Megan supports her clients by collaborating to build resilience and teach coping skills in a supportive, understanding environment.  Megan believes in meeting people where they are and that building the therapeutic relationship by using a collaborative and person-centered approach to therapy empowers clients to make changes that are necessary and will lead to client success. After exploring a number of career paths in and being able to empathize with struggling to find purpose and passion, she is excited to finally be able to support others with their life’s ups and downs.

 

Megan enjoys cooking, traveling, seeing live music, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
